At felyx we are looking for passionate people to join our team, ready to bring the transportation revolution to the world. Exciting times, with exciting challenges.

So, are you ready to beat the streets?

If you are someone that wants to be part of a group of entrepreneurial people who share a revolutionary mindset and work at a fun office, keep reading!

Here is the challenge:

In the last years we’ve been able to rapidly grow our fleet and team. Last summer we have launched our operations in Germany, which marks the further expansion of our international journey. Now felyx is seeking an experienced, motivated, and investigative UX Researcher to join felyx in its international growth and to become part of the newly founded felyx Product (and Design) Team.

As UX Researcher at felyx, you get the space, opportunity, and responsibility to guide our products' development through quantitative and qualitative data.

You’re directly working with the Product team to drive our product development. You will play a vital role in steering felyx’ product and in maximizing the value of our service to our users. Together with the wider product team and business stakeholders, you determine what our software product looks like.

What you will be doing at felyx:

  • Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with product and design leaderships
  • Contribute to the establishment of a user-centered product development culture
  • Plan, run and analyze independently multiple research projects with various complexities at different points of the product development process.
  • Perform both qualitative analysis on our whole customer-base and qualitative analysis through in-depth contact with our customers.
  • Utilize a variety of methods to develop and innovate on our user research practice.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, analysts, etc.) to build and execute research roadmaps in an agile working context.
  • Communicate and deliver meaningful research insights in effective, innovative, and impactful ways to a variety of audiences.
  • Work alongside other Data, Product, Marketing, and other teams to piece together insights across the customer journey.

How to know if you are perfect for the job:

  • You have at least 3+ years of experience in a UX research related role, specifically in consumer-facing mobile and web applications
  • Ability to independently define key research questions, purpose the most adequate research method, take care of planning, execute, and synthesize data to generate actionable insights.
  • Ability to understand the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.
  • Experience with qualitative mixed methods.
  • Ability to collaborate with peers from product teams to improve the overall experience for users.
  • Effective communication skills and innovative storytelling, both oral and written.
  • Enthusiastic team player.
  • Background in Psychology, Sociology, Behavioral science, or a related field.
  • Experience working on e-commerce products/services across multiple platforms and/or markets.
  • Experience executing research in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are not afraid to build out the responsibilities of your role and help establish the processes of a new team
  • You are a self-starter and actively identify opportunities for research

What would make you even more perfect (but don’t worry, this is a plus):

  • You have experience working in mobility or sharing services
  • You have a valid license and are able to drive our e-mopeds

Benefits for you:

You will work in a transparent, fast-growing and inspirational environment in which you are able to take the lead over your own career and will get challenged on a daily basis!

And next to that:

  • 29 paid days off on a full-time basis: 28 on the roll and a day off on your birthday! (Yay!)
  • You will get free felyx minutes, of course.
  • We want to invest in your future: a good pension plan is therefore in place (1/3 employee, 2/3 employer).
  • We offer 6 weeks of paternity leave with 100% salary for all (upcoming) dads. (And of course, maternity leave for upcoming mothers as well).
  • Great office with great food options (& obviously free coffee, duh!) just 10 minutes from Amstel Station.

One more thing: Don’t worry about buying a suit just yet, our interview process will be online or by phone, and the office dress code is: be comfortable and come as you are!

Okay, one last thing: In case you are doubting if you meet all the requirements, still apply! We love people and we don’t hire based only on words and cv documents.

And, if you might know someone who fits the requirements better, don’t be afraid to share it with them! We have a variety of openings, and you might both end up working at Felyx. If you are a smart person and are excited about the company, you will most likely find a place here.

At felyx we believe that the best workplace is one that represents the world we live in today. This means we believe that diversity in the broadest sense of the word connects us and drives us forward as a company.

We believe that diversity goes hand in hand with different perspectives. It is these different perspectives that can help us become better and more innovative in finding solutions for our customers.

And because we believe this can be achieved, we are looking for colleagues who are intrinsically motivated and bring the right experience. Gender, age, sexual orientation or origin will never be a factor and will never become one.
