Here's the challenge

Do you get high on data? Great we do too! The coming years we are facing hyper-growth in The Netherlands and the rest of Europe. Therefore, our BI team is expanding and we're getting excited about the idea of doing this in collaboration with students. That’s why we’re looking for students who would like to do their graduation research in the area of Analytics. The goal is to develop an advanced analytical application regarding a specific business topic within our BI tool stack and combining this with writing your master thesis. By creating valuable insights from the vast amount of data we have, you can contribute to grow our customer base and improve our product through predictive and prescriptive analyses.

 

Examples of research topics:

  • Customer lifetime value (CLV) modelling. Perform research on the main drivers behind customer lifetime value and predict the CLV of new customers.
  • Customer segmentation analysis. Use clustering algorithms to identify customer groups with similar driving characteristics.
  • Improve the battery swap recommendation engine. Develop a model to incorporate route optimization in our battery swap recommendation system.
  • Fraud prediction. Predict fraudulent driving behavior (hacked accounts) based on driving characteristics.
  • Bad debt prediction. Based on rides data and payment characteristics, develop a prediction model for customers who are likely to fail on payment of their next invoice.

Requirements

  • Are a master student in the field of Econometrics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence or a related field of study

  • Enjoy working with data and developing advanced analytics
  • See yourself as a flexible person in terms of getting the job done
  • Have excellent communication skills in English
