Job description

The job of Supply Chain Manager will offer you daily challenges within our Supply Chain. You will be responsible to setting up and streamlining purchasing, supply, transport, demand and inventory processes that contribute to our company growth.

Here is the challenge
As Supply Chain Manager you are responsible for the complete supply chain. From forecasting the usage of spare parts for the e-mopeds to buying them and coordinating with our warehouse for delivery to our maintenance locations. On monthly basis you analyze the inventory to ensure high service levels against the lowest holding costs and seek for solutions when shortages arise. You place orders with our suppliers in Asia and Europe and manage the orders till they are shipped to our warehouse.


What you will do:

  • Inventory management: Analyse stock levels against agreed service levels in our EU warehouse & local maintenance locations and update NetSuite against these new reorder points, preferred stock levels & safety stock levels.
  • Warehousing: Lead and inspire the warehouse manager to improve processes and optimize storage
  • Demand Planning: Understand drivers and trends of demand, based on demand forecasts for short and long term. Challenge the inputs in case of misalignment with the monthly plan.
  • Stakeholder Management: Support internal customers on supply chain topics and projects. Create visibility on inventory levels, performance, financial KPI’s and ongoing improvement projects.
  • Planning Optimization: Build, integrate, and develop our planning tools. Managing demand and supply parameters in the systems to enable correct planning and optimized inventories.

How to know you will fit the job:

As a Supply Chain manager, you are someone that is engaged with our service, our company and will take the internal customers needs into account. As you work with several departments and stakeholders, you need to be a pro-active team player! Furthermore we are looking for someone who is a strong communicator, (result and data) driven. To be successful you will need to roll up your sleeves, get a clear understanding of company wide processes, develop future proof processes and sometimes just lean into the chaos and lead stakeholders into a structured approach to solve day-to-day issues in our young Supply Chain.

  • 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, with proven track record on demand planning;
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field (e.g. Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economic studies), Master’s degree is preferred;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels within the organization on supply chain matters;
  • Able to work in cross functional teams to support the organization on theme’s like product innovation and sustainability;
  • Strong analytical skills and affinity towards data-driven decision making;
  • You are an inventive self-starter, flexible, analytic, accurate and you like to finish what has been started;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • ERP experience (NetSuite is a big plus)
  • Definitely fluent in English. Dutch is an advantage.
  • Living in the Netherlands with a valid work/residence permit
