In the last years we’ve been able to rapidly grow our fleet and team. Last summer we have launched our operations in Germany, which marks the further expansion of our international journey. As multiple follow-up expansions are already in the making, felyx is seeking an experienced, motivated and creative Product Designer to join felyx in its international growth and to become part of the newly founded felyx Product (and Design) Team.


As Product Designer at felyx you get the space, opportunity and responsibility to build the face of our product: our mobile apps. In addition, you will work on the back-office application used by our internal teams.

You’re directly working with the Engineering team to drive our product development. You will play a vital role in steering felyx’ product and in maximising the value of our service to our users. Together with the wider product team and business stakeholders, you determine what our software product looks like.


What you will be doing at felyx:

  • Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with product and design leaderships
  • Contribute to the design culture at felyx
  • Constantly challenge yourself and the team on how we work, helping to adopt new practices and tools
  • Regularly present your work and evangelise good design standards within the team and the wider company
  • Give and seek feedback to continually raise the bar for quality in the team
  • Collaborate with research to understand how our users think and feel and inform design decisions
  • Craft exceptional flows and experiences that are easy to use and follow our design principles
  • Work with product and engineering to oversee the user experience from conception to launch (and continuous iterations)
  • Turn conceptual ideas into impactful solutions for thousands of users
  • Work with our Design System to create UI reference and Acceptance Criteria for the development team
  • Engage with the business stakeholders to understand our needs and turn this into designs

Requirements

How to know if you are perfect for the job:

  • You have at least 5+ years of relevant design experience in digital products, specifically in consumer-facing mobile and web applications
  • You can actively support more junior members of the team with practical advice and guidance
  • You’re proactive, organised, curious, humble, and empathetic, and you can multitask across multiple work-streams
  • You love to collaborate and are at your best when you're working with research, design, product, and engineering
  • You have a strong portfolio of case studies showing your skills
  • You have a strategic mindset and are an expert in translating user behaviour into excellent user experience and design
  • You have a high level of proficiency in design tools, such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

What would make you even more perfect (but don’t worry, this is a plus):

  • You have experience working in mobility or sharing services
  • You have a valid license and are able to drive our e-mopeds
