Here is the challenge
In the last years we’ve been able to rapidly grow our fleet and team. Last summer we have launched our operations in Germany, which marks the further expansion of our international journey. As multiple follow-up expansions are already in the making, felyx is seeking an experienced, motivated and hands-on mobile product owner to join felyx in its international growth and to become part of the newly founded felyx Product Team.


As the new Mobile product owner at felyx you get the space, opportunity and responsibility to build what we see as the backbone of the company: the back-end and front-end of the product that everyone loves, our sustainable e-scooters!

You’re directly working with the Engineering team to drive our product development. You will play a vital role in steering felyx’ product and in maximizing the value of our service to our users. You own a specific part of our product and set quarterly and sprint goals. Together with the wider product team and business stakeholders, you determine what our software product looks like.


What you will be doing
at felyx:

  • Work together with Product Manager and other product owners to determining the product roadmap and achieving sprint and quarterly goals
  • Defining features and user stories together with relevant stakeholders
  • Managing and owning the backlog for your team(s): prioritizing and refining new features and bug fixes based on business value
  • Work closely with the development teams and designers through the whole lifecycle of a feature
  • Communicating across the organization: making sure everyone understands what enhancements are being delivered in what time frames and the purpose behind them
  • Together with the Scrum Master prepare and lead biweekly scrum events
  • Laying the groundwork to create a high performing development team
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating our product and defining improvements based on quantitative and qualitative analyses

And important not to forget: we encourage you to grow with the company and within your role as we are continually on our journey towards ‘world domination’. Just kidding, market leader in Europe will do (for now).

Requirements

How to know if you are perfect for the job:

  • You believe a product owner is not a ruler in an ivory tower, rather they are a conduit to connect the right people and ideas
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in product roles
  • Are experienced with the scrum methodology and an agile way of working
  • Are very customer-experience driven and focus on delivering value
  • Use data for your decision making throughout the whole life cycle of a product
  • Have high level understanding of APIs and back- and front-end collaboration for mobile and web
  • Have experience with managing the priority of a product backlog
  • Possess excellent stakeholder management skills and are used to complex horizontal and vertical stakeholder management
  • Ask for help and feedback pro-actively, and dare to give feedback to others
  • Master a subject quickly and take on things proactively
  • Have experience in coordinating, guiding and implementing new digital customer functionalities, preferably across multiple countries
  • Are fluent in written and spoken English


What would make you even more perfect (but don’t worry, this is a plus):

  • You worked with mobile apps with a large customer base
  • You have experience in the mobility market
  • You love the colour green & riding e-mopeds
