HR & Recruitment Manager Germany

Job description

This role offers the unique opportunity to join our ride and further co-develop our local HR & recruitment strategy, roadmap and Performance Management plans in our second foreign market, Germany. As HR/ Recruitment- champ you will play a key role in driving felyx's growth. You will assume and form the entire German team together with the General Manager. You will be our go-to person when it comes to talent & culture for our German team.

The Team

The nice thing about this role is that you have two teams. On the one hand your local German team, on the other hand your colleagues at Global level. In your daily work you will report to the General Manager Germany. Job content to our Global Head of HR.
You are the first HR colleague in Germany, which means that you are given every opportunity to develop and implement the policy and to hire your own team over time. The goal in the short term is to appoint a Recruiter.

Here's the challenge

As HR& Recruitment Manager in Germany you are the face and the voice of felyx for future and current talent. In this position you are at one hand responsible for the rapidly growing German team, that will be built from January. On the other hand, you will build and set up all processes in the field of HR. 


As mentioned, for HR the framework on a global level is in place, but now it is up to you to further develop and shape our policies and processes towards the German market. Furthermore devising, setting up and executing projects when it comes to Performance Management, Recruitment optimization and setting up a data-driven HR policy. In this role you improve data-driven processes on the one hand, and do good old hands-on HR work on the other hand by managing teams, improving absenteeism and supporting managers in managing their teams.


It’s a chance where you get to combine HR, Recruitment, Talent Management with being a direct business partner to the team and Managers of the Global Team and new markets. In the first quarter, the focus will mainly be on recruitment. When the team is standing, the division will be approx 25% Recruitment, 25% HR advice, 30% HR Projects, 20% admin and payroll).
 

What are you going to do?

This is not your first HR-rodeo and you have some ideas on how to make sure HR is able to facilitate the growth and have innovative ideas on HR policies and projects. To accomplish this you will:

  • Building the team from scratch

  • You don't turn your hand for 10+ vacancies per month (in the beginning)

  • Develop legal and contractual vision on HR

  • Develop a comprehensive HR strategy 

  • Develop Employer Branding strategy

  • Manage all different stakeholders regarding every touchpoint in the employee journey

  • Draws up efficient and modern reports to monitor our HR and comes up with possibilities for improvement

  • Be responsible for the entire  local HR admin

  • You know exactly how to monitor culture and create atmosphere in a team!

Requirements

We truly get excited if you

  • Have approximately 3-5 years in HR and Recruitment

  • You speak and write fluent German and English

  • You know German employment law well and can advise the GM and the Global HR team

  • You have experience within a rapidly growing organization

  • Are able to co-develop our HR strategy and execute them;

  • Know your tools and are up-to-date with the current recruitment & employee experience trends

  • Share our entrepreneurial mindset: self-starting, hands-on, curious and constantly pushing boundaries

  • Must: you have experience in an organization that actively worked on the internationalization of the organization
