Here’s the challenge
As a Global Pricing Specialist you will be part of the global marketing team. Analyzing our extensive dataset with advanced BI tools to better understand our riders and manage (new) pricing projects to drive our revenue forward. Converting hypotheses into data analysis (or requirements) and business cases (e.g., proposing pricing updates) on an operational and strategic level. Helping the team to make sense of the available data by putting it in the right context and shaping analytics results into compelling stories. Working closely with the General Managers, Global Head of Marketing, and various stakeholders from departments like Data & Analytics, Engineering, and Finance. Aiming to make a significant impact and contribute to the accelerated growth of the company within Europe.

Things that you will tackle in this role:

  • Research: Gather market data, monitor competitors, identify trends, and track ride behavior
  • Analytics: Analyze, validate assumptions, build dashboards, and obtain actionable insights
  • Reporting: Share findings, key insights, and recommendations with the wider organization
  • Project management: Own marketing (insights) and pricing (features) related projects
  • Pricing strategy: Work on a solid global pricing strategy together with the local GMs
  • Tech: Define requirements and propose data/usability improvements to D&A or Engineering
  • Stakeholder management: Manage expectations, communicate, and successfully execute


Some examples of projects that you will work on: dynamic pricing, discount analysis, loyalty program, pricing models, customer clustering, persona’s, campaign impact tracking, or churn prediction.

Requirements

We get truly excited if you have

  • A data-driven mindset with advanced SQL and Excel skills
  • A master’s degree in Econometrics, Mathematics, Business Analytics or similar
  • Strong ownership and are able to work independently across departments
  • Hands-on mentality with strategic and management capabilities
  • 3-5 years’ experience in an analytical role (preferably in pricing)
  • Experience with enterprise BI software like Metabase
  • Extensive project and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient with tools like PowerPoint to present outcomes
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal) and based in the Netherlands

Bonus points if you

  • Have experience within a fast-growing scale-up
  • Worked in the micro-mobility industry
  • Know how to use Python
