Here is the challenge

As Financial administrator you’ll have the unique opportunity to streamline accounting processes to enable our international expansion. Together with the team, you are responsible for the overall financial administration of multiple entities in an international environment, you optimize the working capital of felyx and ensure that management has the right insights to steer the organization.


What you’ll be doing

Together with the admin team, you will be the go-to person for all financial related questions and maintaining the financial administration of the felyx entities (invoice handling, managing debtors/creditors, preparing payments). You will be responsible for assisting in the month-end closing and assuring that our actuals are delivered on time. In short:

  • Making sure our invoices are recorded and paid out on time
  • Processing and clearing bank mutations
  • Ensuring that we are in control of our VAT filings
  • Executing the month-end closing process and preparing the monthly results
  • Helping the founding team in making ad-hoc financial decisions

And important not to forget: we encourage you to grow with the company and within your role as we are continually on our journey towards ‘world domination’. Just kidding, market leader in Europe will do (for now).

Requirements

We truly get excited if you

  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset (creative problem solver, dedicated, motivated, self-starter)
  • Are a true bookkeeping genius, as stated above, experience with NetSuite is a plus
  • Are accustomed to delivering high quality and value pragmatism
  • Have experience (3 years) in a similar financial role
  • Know how to multitask, prioritize and build strong working relationships
  • See yourself as a flexible person in terms of getting the job done while becoming the leading global platform
  • Are fluent in English and Dutch
  • You are based in the Netherlands

Bonus points if you

  • Are getting exciting about operating an urban mobility service
  • Have experience in a startup environment
  • Have a degree in Accountancy/Business Economics (Bachelor)
