Here's the challenge

As Finance Manager at Felyx you are in charge of all financial administration and making our (internal) processes scalable for the international expansion. Short sentence, big responsibility! You will work directly with our CFO, Olof van den Bout and you will have your own accounting team. Now, you are probably wondering what the main tasks are. Let us explain:

  • Accounting - Making sure all our financial administration is up to date, including invoice handling, VAT filings and month-end closings.
  • Business Controller - Prepare budgets and business plans. Meet with the City & Country Managers to make sure results are being met, by comparing actuals vs budgets.
  • Scaling up - Build the Accounting and finance team and structure the international setup. Implement IT tooling and bring best-practices from your previous jobs.
  • Ad hoc Projects - Structure the Financial reporting framework and make financial forecasts.
  • Investor reporting – Be in the lead to inform our investors about our performance.

Important not to forget, is that we encourage you to grow with the company and within your role as we continually grow in our journey towards ‘world domination’. Just kidding, market leader in Europe will do (for now).


We truly get excited if you

  • Have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role and are a true bookkeeping genius
  • Are experienced in month-end & year-end closing
  • Perfectly know your way around Excel for financial forecasting/investment analyses
  • Have a solid understanding of financial tooling and you are up to date with current trends to know which tools to use in a scaling environment
  • Have perfect communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Get the job done!
  • Have experience in coaching team members and are able to build an efficient team.

Bonus points if you

  • Obtained a bachelor degree in Accountancy or Finance
