Therefore, we are looking for an ambitious Business Controller who will be responsible for overseeing the business & financial operations of felyx.

 

As urbanization is rising and the air quality is deteriorating, we feel the need to make our cities greener and healthier by offering a sustainable mobility solution. Besides, we offer a new and fun way around town! At felyx, everybody within their own expertise is contributing to a cleaner city by making this swift door-to-door transportation the new status quo. We are working together as an ambitious team of entrepreneurs, operators, marketers and engineers - and looking to grow as we scale the business throughout Europe. Felyx is one of the few micro-mobility players in the world that is EBITDA positive on group level with a fleet of c3.000 e-mopeds. We are a young company with more than a hundred employees, working in the operations and at the head office in Amsterdam. Here's the challenge

We are expanding rapidly, and for this reason seeking for an experienced, motivated and hands on Business Controller. You support the business in various financial needs. But it’s not only about controlling: you partner up with other departments in order to understand what drives the business and build business plans to identify growth opportunities throughout Europe. This function is a great way to apply your analytical skills on an operational level, including higher-value-added activities and a more strategic outlook. All of which will help felyx to stay on track and achieve its goals.


To accomplish this you will

  • Run the quarterly budget process and maintain the budget model
  • Prepare the monthly results calls (process and insights) 
  • Produce the monthly/quarterly/annual management reports
  • Provide ad-hoc analyses to improve the business

But, not important to forget, is that we encourage you to grow with the company and within your role as we are continually growing in our journey towards ‘world domination’. Just kidding, market leader in Europe will do (for now).

Requirements

We truly get excited if you

  • Have a University degree and training as RC (minimum of 4 years work experience)
  • Possess excellent business modeling and accounting skills
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken (Dutch, French and/or German are a plus)
  • Are a strong analyst (Excel, access, SQL) and simple communicator (spoken and ppt)
  • Are very interested in micro-mobility and working in a fluid fast pace start-up
  • Are self-motivated and have the ability to learn new skills that enable you to grow quick
  • Have a data-driven nature and ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution
